Dear prospective advertiser,
The biz card ads in the back of the magazine is the most affordable way to
advertise in Tape Op. We've tried to price these ads as low as possible, at
very near our cost of printing and distributing the magazine.
The only way we can continue to do these ads this affordably is by asking
the biz card advertisers to make it as easy as possible for us to place
their ads. So, to place a biz card ad in Tape Op, please completely read and
carefully follow these instructions:
- Print out and fill out the form on this page as completely as possible.
If you include a FAX number, we will fax you an insertion order/receipt. If
not, it will be mailed to you at the mailing address you provide. The part
on the form about "File Name on FTP server will be explained below"
- The rates for the biz card ads are as follows:
- 1 ad, 1 issue $225
- 1 ad, run in 3 consecutive issues $600
- These rates are payable in advance of the ad(s) running and are for black
and white ads. For color, add $50 per issue as follows:
- 1 ad, 1 issue $275
- 1 ad, run in 3 consecutive issues $750
- Payment is accepted only by check or money order. No credit card or Pay
Pal. Please enclose your payment made out to "Tape Op" with the filled out
form and mail it to:

- You can find the deadlines for each issue by filling out the ad form on
the previous page and requesting the ad rates PDF. It has all the deadlines
on it. Ads received by the artwork due deadline will be in that issue. If
you miss the deadline it will be in the next issue.
- Ads must be submitted as 300 DPI TIFF files. Greyscale for black and
white, CMYK for color. They must be 3.5 inches wide and 2 inches high. If
your ad is not sized correctly you may miss an issue. We will attempt to
contact you and resolve the problem, but we can't promise it.
- Ads must be emailed to the address bizcardad@tapeop.com
You must include the name of your company in the filename of the attachment which
contains the ad AND in the subject line of the email which contains the attachment.
Please make sure to specify this information in the mail in form that must accompany
payment for all biz card ads. If you are not able to email the ad you may send it on CDROM
along with the mail in form and payment.
