We interviewed Paramore drummer Zac Farro for Tape Op #144, and he hasn't slowed down much since. In addition to his work with Paramore, he has been releasing music under the moniker Halfnoise, but next week will mark the release of Operator, the first solo album under his own name. If the music released as a run-up to the July 18th release is any indication, Operator, will be a varied collection of tunes with Zac exploring different genres and eras. The first single, "My My", has wisps of Meddle era Pink Floyd, and new song "1" sounds like something that could have come out of Blank Studios in the late '70s. We're looking forward to the full album release next week!
Tape Op is a bi-monthly magazine devoted to the art of record making.
