An album created completely from iPhone instruments, samplers and beat generators? Yup, here it is, courtesy of Freematik (Tom Freeman). Apps used include iDrum, Beatmaker, miniSynth, Thereminator, Flare and Jasuto. The album wasn't recorded into a second iPhone like I first assumed (only one app at a time, folks) - Cubase 5 took care of that. Twenty-five instrumental tracks all generated on an iPhone might be a crazy concept for an album, but someone had to do it, and at least this one has some cool songs! (www.freematik.com) -LC
