Tape Op Publisher's Studio Closing Down and Morphing into New Places
BY Mike Caffrey
My best friend and business partner, John Baccigaluppi, is moving out of the old building that houses his studio The Hangar (along with his Tape Op office) and had been part of his life since 1990. I played on some of the earliest records from there, and returned to produce a few sessions there in the 90's and 00's. The place will be missed. Here's John's blog about the transition and the history.
Tape Op is a bi-monthly magazine devoted to the art of record making.
