On Oct 18th, the 30-plus year old band Karate will release Make it Fit, their first new album in 20 years, and have recently dropped the first two singles from the LP, "Defendants" and "Silence, Sound."

Larry first interviewed Karate for Tape Op #3 back in 1996!
Karate's guitarist, vocalist and guitarist Geoff Farina is a long time Tape Op contributor, and the album was recorded and mixed by Tape Op's resident Gear Geek, Andy Hong.
It's way cool to see Geoff, Andy, and the band making new music together after so long!
Tape Op is a bi-monthly magazine devoted to the art of record making.
