My friend, sts is the Program Director and an instructor at The Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls. They’re currently building up their recording program, Rock Camp Studio and the "Recording Engineer Track" studies and are looking for sponsors to help with providing some of the recording gear needed. The camp has been active since 2001 and have taught girls from 13-18 how to play instruments, for groups, write music, start ‘zines and how to record music. Their Words: “The Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls, a 501(c)3 non-profit, builds girls self-esteem through music creation and performance. Providing workshops and technical training, we create leadership opportunities, cultivate a supportive community of peers and mentors, and encourage social change and the development of life skills.” You or your company might be able to help with The Rock ’n’ Roll Camp for Girls in outfitting their studio with recording gear and support. If you are interested drop sts a line. Thanks for any help! -LC sts@girlsrockcamp.org 503-445-4991
