The Telephono Recording Project

From reader David Matysiak: "I would love to talk to you about audio experiment that I've been working on. It's a project called Telephono. Based on the children's game where you whisper a message and it gets around a circle of people, then sounds totally different. In the spirit of the recording 'process,' I have launched telephono.org to archive this project. 60 artists, 15 songs, from California to Denmark...it's going on strong. I just did an interview with NPR Weekend Edition, pitchfork, Paste, and others...but at heart, Tape Op is my favorite magazine.
