Fort George Brewery and Tape Op Overdub IPA

Brian Bovinizer is the Marketing and Sales Director at Fort George Brewery in Astoria, Oregon. Being a Tape Op reader, some 11 years ago he spotted Tape Op's founder/editor Larry Crane enjoying a few pints at the brewery's Lovell Tap Room. As the brewery had been doing collaboration beers with record labels like Suicide Squeeze, Larry jokingly said, "We should do a Tape Op beer." A year later, Overdub IPA was born, a delicious session beer (4.5% ABV). On March 16th this year (2025) they celebrated Fort George's 18th birthday and Overdub's return with a fun afternoon music show with Snake Farm Family Band (who Brian sang few songs with) and Larry's choice band, The Prids (look for the album he produced for them, I Only Care About You and Me).A very fun day! Brian also co-owns one of the few recording studios in Astoria, The Rope Room; a super unique joint. Look for Overdub IPA at Fort George locations and via mail order.
