The Buzzcocks: Another Music in a Different Kitchen, Love Bites, A Different Kind of Tension

REVIEWED BY Larry Crane

ISSUE NO. 29 May 16, 2002

The Buzzcocks unleashed these three amazing albums in the span of a couple of years, with Martin Rushent producing. These remain the standard to me by which guitar-driven punk-pop records must be judged. There's just enough arty-ness, great songs and energy - plus you can hear the band's growth, along with their producer, as they move along. More essential stuff. (www.nettwerkamerica.com)
