Beauty Pill, despite member Chad Clark being a studio denizen of note in the D.C. area, isn't a prolific band - having released only two EPs in the last three years. It's also interesting that their debut, The Cigarette Girl From The Future, was a sonic multitrack whirlwind, whereas this EP was recorded on a 4-track! Both are great records, and slightly remind me of Versus (a good thing) but the 4-track stuff does sound good and forces one to really listen to the songs!
