Several things are significant about this release. It is the soundtrack to a film called Young Adam. David Byrne releases a CD on an independent label. It was recorded at CaVa Sound Workshops, Glasgow, with the esteemed Tony Doogan. It was mastered by Greg Calbi. Many people from hip Glasgow bands like Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, The Delgados and Appendix Out play on it. It doesn't sound like the Talking Heads (though a 'Heads box set is in the works). Plus it's a super graceful and pretty record.
