Every year at about this time Tape Op Magazine sends out a holiday card to our writers and advertisers as a bit of cheer. This year, in thinking about those in our communities who are struggling, we have opted not to do a card and instead make a donation to our local food bank. We felt the money spent on printing and mailing a holiday card could be better used going to the many people in need. There are many of them: Families impacted by COVID-19, small businesses, self-employed folks, and those that have lost their livelihoods due to the economic impact of the pandemic. Many are stuggling to just get by. With all the people we have lost this year, and so much division in the U.S., it may feel like there is not much to celebrate – but what we can do, in the spirit of the season, is to come together with a simple common goal of helping those of us in need. Here is a link that will help you find your local food bank: https://www.feedingamerica.org/find-your-local-foodbank We encourage you to make a donation if you are able.
Thanks to Chris Dauray for his help every year in designing a holiday card for us. Below are hi-res images of all of our previous cards Chris did. Feel free to share with your friends and family.
