Eddie Ashworth dropped me a line about the work he and many other scholars are doing with the Art of Record Production folks. Be sure to read The Journal for the Art of Record Production online. It's densely full of articles, interviews, reviews and more, and while maybe a bit academic for my taste (I hated college, to be honest) but there are a lot of great thoughts and writing going on here and more people need to be awareof this resource.
Tape Op is a bi-monthly magazine devoted to the art of record making.
