Bügsküll: Bügsküll & the Big White Cloud

REVIEWED BY Larry Crane

ISSUE NO. 31 September 15, 2002

Bügsküll has mutated over time from a group into the home- recorded experimental-pop wanderings of Sean Byrne. It's cool stuff, recorded on an 8-track deck I believe, and never getting so weird that it loses the listener but never being normal enough to bore anyone. A great example of how good lo-fidelity home recording can be. (www.scratchrecords.com)
