New Video and Single “T-Shirt” from David Byrne and Brian Eno

David Byrne and Brian Eno famously collaborated on 1981’s seminal My Life in the Bush of Ghosts LP, which was recorded before Eno produced the Talking Heads' classic LP Remain In Light that came out in 1980. Listen to both records in the order they were recorded, and you can hear the progression of ideas from ...Ghosts to ... Light.

My favorite collaboration between the two however might be 2008’s Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. This album of uplifting pop songs almost defines the genre a friend of mine calls Ambient Gospel Pop. Maybe that’s why I like the new single “T-Shirt” the pair has recently released; it very much reminds me of the Everything That Happens...LP. Check out new track and its fun video below.

Larry has interviewed both Brian Eno and David Byrne , and his interview with engineer Pat Dillett has more insight into some of these records, as well as our interview with the Talking Heads Jerry Harrison.
